Description
These are not original 1930s doors but still solid steel and have the same appearrance. They offer much higher security, soundproofing and energy efficiency.
They would cost around £7,000 to make bespoke (see third photo of an invoice of similar set of Steel doors we have in stock). Any items in solid Steel is extremely expensive to produce ad cant be compared to Aluminium products.
There are no exterior handles, so they can only be opened/locked from the inside– this offers higher security and gives a more aesthetically pleasing appearance externally.

Condition
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- Some of the gasket has split and will need replacing, however this can be purchased online for a low expense.
- Some screw holes at the top of the frame, which can be easily filled.
- The metal housing for the top and bottom shoot bolts has been bent (see photos) which your fitter may be able to rectify. Alternatively, new shoot bolts can be purchased online for a low expense and fitted easily. This is purely cosmetic, as the shoot bolts still operate as intended.
- Handles missing, however, suitable one can be purchased online at a low expense.
Security
- Multipoint locking system making it very secure.
- The barrel will need to be changed as there are no keys with this door. However, this can be replaced at a low expense, contact us for more info.
Opening
- Externally opening doors.
- When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the left.
Glazing
- Glazing is 24mm thick double glazed, clear, toughened with White warm edge spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon gas for extra efficiency.
Colour
- The colour externally and internally is White, with a matching frame either side.

📞 Additionally, we provide support for any installation questions or issues for up to a year, provided the item is installed by a FENSA-approved fitter and you can supply the fitter's invoice and contact details.
